The double-layer insulation is the reason I picked this one, and my kids can brush past it while it's boiling without any worry. It's genuinely quiet too, which I wasn't expecting for a 1500W kettle.

The concealed heating element is so much easier to clean than my old exposed coil kettle, and it brings water to a boil in no time. I also appreciate that the outer surface stays cool enough to touch even right after it's finished.

Boils a full 1.5L in about the time I make toast, and the concealed element makes wiping out the limescale a breeze. Wish the lid opened a bit wider for filling, but the auto-off has never let me down.
