The soft-touch zone on the handle makes a real difference during longer prep sessions—my hand doesn't cramp up like with my old knife. The blade cover slides off smoothly and keeps it safe in the drawer, which I honestly didn't think I'd care about until I used it.

The soft-touch grip on the handle makes a real difference when you're chopping for a while, no slipping at all. The blade cover clicks on securely, so I feel safe just tossing it in the drawer.
